We were selected by FDOT to design one of the most challenging projects in North Florida, Widening US 17 from New Berlin Road to Max Leggett Parkway. This the second largest contract of the year in D2 and a huge win for Osiris 9. Excellent teammates and excellent FDOT staff to work for will make this a success.
Two miles of US 17 will be reconstructed as a five-lane urban roadway with a shared use path. CSX Railroad parallels the corridor to the west, and several businesses on the east side use FDOT right-of-way for parking, making coordination a critical issue. We are moving into an accelerated design phase to allow the the first phase of construction between New Berlin Road and Airport Center Drive to begin in 2024.
